Open call for best NYE ideas

Square Pegs

Published: December 22, 2008

I'm currently perusing our more than 200 strong (and still growing) list of New Year's Eve festivities -- the largest such list in town -- for a roundup of the most interesting options. I'm looking for outliers here: Most expensive; cheapest; best value; best for kids; weirdest; etc.

Please post any and all recommendations/pitches in the comments below. It's well worth your time, especially if you're putting on one of these shindigs. The week between Christmas and New Year's is our highest traffic of the year-- all driven by searches for NYE events. And, this roundup is going to double as a special edition of our newsletter.

Finally, not to be too salesy here, but given all the above, if I was putting on an New Year's shindig, I'd sure want to make sure it stands out in the crowd by advertising it someplace that had a ton of year-end traffic centered on events, especially when I could do so for as little as a couple hundred bucks. But then I'm crazy like that.

The newsletter is already sold out, but we still have a lot of opportunities on the site itself, as well as the mobile edition.
