Once again, our friends at the Eisemann Center are giving away some choice tickets as part of their advertising for a show.
This time out, it's The Romeros, known in some circles as "the royal family of the classical guitar." They're coming for a show and residency co-sponsored by UT Dallas’ School of Arts and Humanities and Eisemann Center Presents.

This time we have two pair of tickets to give away.
One pair, we'll do in a familiar style: Registered users (it's free and painless!) can favorite the show and/or the Eisemann center and thereby enter the drawing twice. We'll draw the winner on Valentine's Day.
The second pair will be part of a new concept we're developing that, for the lack of a better name, I'm calling "the UnContest." More details to come, but suffice to say that the winner will be someone who really likes Classical music and visits us regularly.
(And yes, this means that the Pilobolus drawing is complete. We'll announce the winner as soon as he confirms pickup of the ducats.)

The Romero are great. I have about 10 of their albums (some with just one or two Romeros) and listen to them at work a lot.
I had the good fortune to see them in an intimate setting with an audience of about 50 people while back in college. Pepe kept on staring at my date and winking at her while he played. Once the concert ended, Pepe made a beeline to my date, gave her a couple of autographed albums (yes, I know that dates me) and talked to us -- mostly her -- for about 15 minutes. Oh, he gave me an autographed album, too, to placate any perceived jealously.
It was a very memorable evening in a multitude of ways.
