I was not booed off the stage, so I consider it a great success.

Actually, sounds like I'm going into the studio to film the talk so they can air it on iMedia.

Meaning we literally will get a post of the talk? I'm enthralled.

Don't know exactly when the taping might be, so as tide-over, the previously promised silent preso:

<embed bgcolor="#FFFFFF" height="450" loop="false" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" quality="high" src="http://media.pegasusnews.com/Mike/imedia.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="600">

Couple of questions: what exactly were you saying to the audience on the penetration graph? And what on earth is on the Less Time For Movies slide? Far too small for Doyle to read.

On the penetration graph, if it's the one I think you mean, it's basically my general schpeal about the size and vibrance of our community as I explain why we're worth paying attention to even if you haven't yet heard of us.

The film thing was just a continuation of the earlier slides on the decline in usage of almost all forms of traditional media. This was, on the whole, a tv-but-not-web-savvy audience who found some of that to be new. The film thing was an NYT graph on people not going to the movies anymore, accompanied by a QT video clip from There Will Be Blood which I downloaded via Bittorrent that morning to just demonstrate to them that I could.

iMedia is really getting religion on the importance of multiple distribution channels, including online, in a way that I've never seen in any other broadcast outlet. I was trying to nudge them a little further over the cliff.

When it's done, post a link to the iMedia vid (or embed here), plars.
