For the last couple years, I've done much of my new music discovery via the BitTorrent SXSW put out featuring tunes from all of the showcasing artists. For reasons beyond my ken, they dropped the practice this year.
Fortunately, a fan picked up the slack -- while also re-seeding the prior years' torrents.
