The more common consequences of an unkempt desk include ridicule and perhaps lowered job security.

But in this case, clutter (coupled with neglect and a bit of curiosity followed by sincere forgetfulness) can hurt those we love. Our produce.

This banano was left to wither on the shelf above my desk for far too long.
