Favoriting contest / UnContest: Missing Persons / The Romantics with Tommy Tutone at Glass Cactus

Square Pegs

Published: July 20, 2008

Our friends (and advertisers) at the Glass Cactus just dropped a couple hundred bucks worth of ducats our way so that a couple lucky users can warp back to the eighties to catch Missing Persons / The Romantics with Tommy Tutone this Friday.

One pair we'll give away via a favoriting contest: Just click "Add to favorites" on the event page to enter. (Requires free / easy / painless registration. We'll draw a winner on Thursday AM.

The other pair goes to slpnkd. He (or she) didn't enter to win -- he didn't have to. According to his Daily You profile, he's the PegNews user second-most-interested in cover/tribute bands, which seemed like a good connection for this UnContest giveaway. (The top user is in such a band himself, and playing on Friday, so we skipped him.)

Or, you could dispense with all this nonsense and buy your own tickets now.
