No local angle at all, but I can't help it. Saw this via the B3ta list. So a Russian band has a song that is an unapologetic, unironic tribute to Mikael Gorbachov and his efforts at bringing capitalism to the Motherland. (That's the correct Russian spelling for all you backseat proofreaders.)
Add zombies, propaganda graphics and a hefty dose of American consumerism, and their video producer comes up with a melange that trounces "Thriller."
I give you: "Gorbachov"

'tis an amazing piece of psychotic eye-candy and industrial strength ear wax remover, but my vote for best video of all time is still the John Kricfalusi/Steve Worth directed version of Bjork's I Miss You (uncensored version).
