Improv Here?

I'm a big fan of well-done public-place improv a la Upright Citizens Brigade. So I'm surprised that I'm just now finding out about Improv Everywhere. They're a loosely confederated group of improv artists who stage public pranks.

There are heavy concentrations in LA, where they tend towards small groups orchestrating big production numbers...

... and NYC where they go for big groups doing simple but crazy things:

The good news? DFW has its own unofficial offshoot, called Civil Confusion Agency. They're just getting started, but they look to have a healthy and active membership. They've already infiltrated Grapevine Mills:

Yeah, so they're not the third coast yet, but it's a start. We're dispatching Laura S to see if she can learn more...
