Frisco deploys ironic, kinda-inefficient PR tactics

To get the word out on its new website, www.visitfrisco.com, the City of Frisco did what any website in 2008 would naturally do: they mailed us a press release about it in paper:

What's more, it came not in an envelope but in a cardboard box, a cardboard box with a bottle of Frisco hand sanitizer.
I was thinking about faxing the scanned image of the words "thank you" in response.

Pavel Lishin, says:
They should have probably called people to let them know to check their mail to check their website.

at least the box didn't come with an<a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/blogs/pegasusnewsblog/2008/may/29/iphone-att-missing/"> empty plastic bag</a>

..or they could've sent another letter first to let you know the box with the letter was coming soon
