Dallas Police Dept teaches how (not) to rob a 7-Eleven

Posted By Alex Bentley in Square Pegs on July 15, 2009

The below 10-minute video is the latest YouTube release from the Dallas Police department, an instructional for convenience store owners on how to prevent store robberies. The video is notable not for the mostly dry commentary, but for the ultra-cheesy robbery sequence that starts at the beginning of the video and continues at the 5:35 mark.

Make sure to keep an eye out for content partner Avi Adelman of Barking Dogs around the 8:00 mark (he appears at other times, too). While the other extras proceed to freak out over the non-menacing robber, Adelman seems to be thinking, "What are you guys going on about? I've seen much worse on Lower Greenville."

Chris Kidd, says:

Its like a jr. year student film, the acting is wooden, the plot unbelievable and the robbery was just too clean. I give it 1 out of 5, and may God have mercy on the souls of the makers of this short film...;)
