The 16th Floor is quieter now

A few years ago, in the early days of Pegasus News, I always put on my A-game for any visit to "The 16th Floor": The Galleria offices nominally inhabited by Sevin Rosen Ventures and also home to half-dozen other venture capital funds who shared the space. Most of Dallas' serious venture capital was there, and it was a second address for any area entrepreneur hoping to knock one out of the park.
Today, The Wall Street Journal reports on the demise of "The Floor," as we called it when we wanted to sound really insider-y. Like media and just about every other business, a combination of systemic change and a lousy economy have created disruptions that turn former Meccas into ghost-towns.
Interesting times...
