Rose Bowl Halftime

Soundcheck

Published: January 5, 2006

I love a good halftime show. This year's Rose Bowl did not disappoint. I was jumping out of my chair with glee when I realized that the USC Marching Band was covering Michael Jackson's epic Beat It. But just when I thought it couldnt get any better, the entire saxophone section recreated the knife fight from the video. If I didnt know better, I could have sworn every one of them had on a red leather jacket underneath their marching uniforms. Sure, the Trojans may have lost the football game, but I think we can all agree that with halftime shows that combine marching bands, Michael Jackson, and knife fights, we all were winners.
