My love letter to Ashlee Simpson
Posted By Alan Cohen in Soundcheck on January 10, 2006
A few months back, I wrote a love letter to Dallas native, Ashlee Simpson. Since I have not yet heard back from her, I can only assume that the letter was lost in the mail. Yet, my feelings have not changed. In an attempt to reach Ashlee's sweet eyes, I have decided to post every word of the letter I sent to her here on the Soundcheck blog...
Dearest Ashlee,
No one makes me want to La La like you. For this reason alone, I can no longer keep my deepest feelings of passion for you a secret. When the Orange Bowl fans booed you, I cried. When you played a CD instead of singing on Saturday Night Live, I laughed (but only at the hilarious SNL skits because there was NOTHING funny about the embarrassment you must have felt).
When you read this, just know that you are the peanut butter to my jelly, and I am the Vanilli to your Milli. However, if for some reason you do not feel these same feelings toward me, could you at least give me Jessica’s number? I feel that I could have beautiful babies with her as well.
Hugs and Kisses
-Alan
