A week or two ago, I posted some YouTube video footage of a 1984 Michael Jackson concert in Dallas.

Our friend, Dan Michalski posted the following comment:

"ahh, the Jacksons Victory tour ... the tickets were expensive ... $30, i believe ... and you had to buy four and only four. two was not an option, nor was six.

it was a big weekend musically in dallas -- the jacksons were doing three nights at Texas Stadium, Van Halen was doing two at Reunion, and Julio Iglesias was also playing in town (not sure where).

the best had to be the day (friday?) that eddie van halen was able to make the jacksons gig and play guitar on "beat it."
