Coack K commercials
Posted By Alan Cohen in Soundcheck on March 21, 2006
Coach K finds a way to make the worst commercial to run over and over and over and over again during the month of March. This year Chevrolet has a commercial where Coach K is featured saying something along the lines of "Americans love a team, it makes them feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves. Thats probably why more Americans drive Chevy's." Huh?? Did I miss something?? Where is the correlation between team and Chevy??
At least I can understand why Chevy would want Coach K as their spokesman. Chevy is a true American automobile, and nothing screams American like Krzyzewski.

"Krzyzewski said his TV commercials with Chevrolet, filmed at Winthrop, haven't been criticized as much as his previous ads with American Express because the current commercials are shorter.
" 'I got my Tahoe today and I'm looking forward to putting my dogs in it and cutting wood and being a real man,' Krzyzewski joked."

Krzyzewski is a very American name Alan. This country was built on the sweat of immigrants from all over the world.
