My parents dragged me to a lot of concerts as a kid. Some were great shows, and even if they aren't musically my cup of tea now, they have informed my love of live performance.

Bolton/Dion was circa 1987. Celine was an "unknown," but my mom loved her. I spent most of the show wanting to gouge my eardrums.

However, my early live concert education included Kenny Rogers, Barry Manilow, The Village People, Huey Lewis, Alabama and most notably The Eagles circa 1976. (I was four.)
