"goodbye 2005."

"when i look back at you fondly, someday off in the future...i will see beautiful noise; good records august 16th; sound city and the ghosts of seventies rockstars past; rhett miller smiling and saying goodnight; george drakoulias “stylin’ it”; gavin changing from a baby in to a young boy; jayme by the oakwoods swiming pool, happy; pleasantry lane lit up at night by eastwood, bigloo, dave little, matt p. and i love math; lefler coming to texas; sarah moving to new york; dear old barley house going away; roberto playing video games and telling us it’ll be ok; the beginning of bend studio; the beginning of the noise; the end of deep ellum; jayme's tsunami benefit at the granada theater; the end of the happiness fator; a check to UNICEF for $21,000; the nourallah brothers on the cover of the dallas observer; lisa and lee helping me make the plastic bubble even bigger–"

"hello 2006. - may all of you out there find peace, love and happiness (if you don’t already have it). happy new year!"
