I saw my old pal Mike Lowe on Sunday and he was telling me about some of the projects he's been working on including the "Lowebro" (a Lowe kinda Dobro) which if you'll note in the picture above...he's made a nice addition with a beer holder located on the right-hand side of the instrument. You gotta love that boy...

Vans Warped Tour 2009 Warped just began -- Dallas is the fifth stop -- so Bad Religion, NOFX et al will still be fresh. This year, they've got fewer stages and longer sets (40 minutes instead of 30). Get there early for Colorado duo 3OH!3 and Brit punkers Gallows (pictured, credit Jay West). More info
