CentralDentonPreservation

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the blogs/MySpace/websites popping up in support of Central Denton, most notably Fry Street.
I will be keeping an eye here though, on this newly started blog, CentralDentonPreservation.org...
"Well here goes:
While we hope this blog will become a place to record the hearsay, the pomp, the failures, and the opportunities surrounding the impending Fry street area razing, we see this development sale, and our collective response to it, as having implications for how the city and we town folk approach, determine, and manage development in central Denton over the next 50 years. Not to sound too grandiose . . ."
"Also :
We hope that this blog will usher the formation of an organization that can lead in the protection and cultivation of our collective cultural resources in central Denton, with improved action in regards to the case that this city is one of a kind, especially on the inside."
"And we hope we can make that case here:
The initial number of us folks contributing to this blog (a number that should grow) hope to also point to the individuals and groups, the music makers, the art makers, the business owners and the many, many others that contribute to our city being a very special place indeed. We’ll try to do so with insight and humor, and at better moments, a cool head."
"Enough of the uppity language. Please stand by . . ."
I think Chris Flemmons of the Baptist Generals is behind this one, so it should be an interesting read...hell...it already is...
Cindy now blogs at The Fine Line.

A nod back to Texas Gigs: http://thefoldmagazine.blogspot.com/
With all of this nodding back & forth, people are gonna start thinking we're dancing.
