How Do I Get My Music Played on National TV?

Posted By Cindy Chaffin in TexasGigs - Cindy's Original Blog on May 16, 2006

There has been a rather lengthy discussion here about the best way for bands to get local radio airplay. We are still mulling that one over.

However, Lisa Endicott is gonna one-up us tonight on Fox 4 News in which she'll appear live with her clients, local super-hero Johnny Lloyd Rollins and composer Bruce Faulconer to shed some light as to how to get your music heard on national television!

Tune in at 5:30 PM if'n you wanna hear what she has to say in the matter....see ya there.

Cindy now blogs at The Fine Line.

I dunno about national, but looks like the best way to get on local tv is to say you have a way to get on national, then take your client with you to the interview. (that totally made sense in my head.)

There's always robbing a bank or being involved in a car chase. Maybe paint the band's logo on top of your white bronco before taking off?

Cody Robinson says:

so it's settled. If you want to be on TV, taint the muffins.

I heard they were Benedryl and Marijuana flavored - and the culprits fit the description of those famed dwarves, Sneezy and Dopey...

So what's an appropriate amount of time for this to go on before I make a "taint" joke. Because the margaritas and the dwarves aren't helping hold back.
