My night started out at Ameriquest Field in Arlington, with the hometown Rangers hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks. I love baseball and the Ballpark and this was my first game out there this season (unbelievable...I've seen 10+ games each of the last couple of seasons). The tickets were given to me by a friend (thanks Steve!) and this was one of the only games that I didn't end up moving around the Ballpark for different angles. The seats were in the front row (after we moved forward) of the 3rd deck, directly behind/above the plate. I was able to get some pretty cool shots with the zoom on my camera...

We walked by Green River Ordinance setting up to play on the patio after the game on our way back to the parking lot...



...and then drove back to Deep Ellum.

I checked out the Titanmoon/Hendrick bill over at Club Clearview and was pleasantly surprised, twice. Titanmoon is fronted by Tyler Casey, one of the more charismatic frontmen I have seen around the metroplex. Tyler is all over the stage when he sings and at one point was at the back of the room, leaning on the bar, still singing.

After Titanmoon, Hendrick rocked Club Clearview! Their Myspace page describes them as "a happy Radiohead or Coldplay meets The Flaming Lips." I was really amazed at the strength and quality of Josh Hendrick's voice, but dont take my word for it.
