Photo Contest: Biggest Neighborhood Eyesore

Work In Progress

Published: December 10, 2007

Everyone has that one neighbor with blinding Christmas lights and giant blow up Christmas characters (unless of course you happen to be the neighbor with hideous lawn decorations, not that there's anything wrong with that). Here is the first of our new monthly series of photo contests:

The assignment: Photograph the biggest neighborhood Christmas eyesore in your neck of the woods.

The rules: Post your photo to our Flickr group and tag it "eyesore". In the caption please include the name of the neighborhood and your name (so we can give you attribution).

The deadline: December 30th. We will be posting the winner's photo with a gallery New Year's Eve Day (Dec. 31), so it would be best to get your picture up by New Year's Eve Eve.

The fabulous prize: TBA (although isn't bragging rights of having the Best Neighborhood Eyesore enough?)

Wait... list our neighborhood and name so we can get... attribution? Don't you mean retribution?

Do Christmas sweaters seen at holiday parties this weekend count if they aren't in my 'hood?
