Every week Pegasus News is sent a number of CDs from local artists who are looking to have their album reviewed. In our dedication to local music, we would love to listen to and thoroughly review every single CD sent to us, but alas, we cannot. As such, we are now turning to our users.

If you, or a loved one, or just an acquaintance, or possibly an enemy who can write well, would be interested in getting a free CD, here's what you can do. First, register at PegNews.com (or Pegasusnews.com, if you're not into the whole brevity thing). Second, send an email to erinrice@pegasusnews.com, a) indicating your interest, b) what genres you absolutely want no part of, and c) some contact information so you can either pick up the CD or we can mail it to you. Finally, write a review that will give our readers more information about the band and their album with your analysis and opinion about the work. In general, I would prefer a review that is at least 3 paragraphs in length. As for other details, I can send you those after you email me.

In the future there will also be some opportunities for our users to write concert reviews in exchange for free tickets to various shows around town. When we get that set up I will make sure to post again with additional information.
