April 15, 2008: minors in strip clubs, council agendas and other distractions from the tax man

Work In Progress

This morning Erin is covering the city desk and checking out council agendas for her designated 'hoods.

Alex, meanwhile, declares that Zombie Strippers is good genre stuff with political satire thrown in for effect. He's writing up a review for posting on the film's release date.

Catherine will be watching tomorrow's Dallas City Council proceedings closely because there's an item on the agenda involving an attempt to close the loophole which allows minors to work in strip clubs. In addition, today she'll be polishing up her interview piece with Michelle Shocked in advance of that singer/songwriter's appearance locally.

And John P. (Paris?) Meyer (moi) will be posting notice of DVDs releasing this week in addition to paying some much-needed attention to college and university beats.
