Jan. 16, 2008: The Hottie and the Nottie

Posted By Alex Bentley in Work In Progress on January 16, 2008

Erin is up to her usual musical stylings, but will be on homepage duty tonight.

Minnie continues her valiant efforts to interview John Tolton, the owner of Paperbacks Plus bookstore in Dallas.

Laura S. will be putting up what I'm sure will be a stunning gallery story.

Chad, via instant message since 9:30 is apparently too early for him to grace us with his presence, is working on a story about Fort Worth Prairie Park, editing an interview with the traveling "evangelical evolutionist" Reverend Dowd (who will be rousing D-FW churches starting Thursday), and going to call/email a city official at Fort Worth to see how the pant-sagging vote went.

John Prosperus Meyer, after seeing the one-two duo of Cassandra's Dream and Cloverfield yesterday, will now have to debase himself and see The Hottie and the Nottie starring one Paris Hilton. See this picture for pretty much all you need to know about this future Razzie Award winner (and go here to see what the "Nottie" actually looks like). You know, my opinion of this movie would have been 10 times better if they had called it The Haughty and the Naughty -- much more clever, and yet, equally descriptive of the two female leads.

Oh, and Catherine's on Metro duty today, so...look for that, too.

Chad Jones, says:

I'm sorry, Alex, but there is much more to know about this fine film. For one, its temperature:

And two, the "Nottie" is played by one Christine Lakin, best known as "Al Lambert" from the beloved 1991-8 ABC situational comedy Step by Step.
