Jan. 22, 2008: Paris and the Oscars

Happy (cold) Tuesday, everybody!
On this dank and dreary day, Minnie is looking to bring a little Sunshine into our lives -- Richard Sunshine, that is, from Sunshine Miniature Trees. Minnie's interview with him is set for tomorrow. Minnie will also be talking to our youth about what an education can do for you when she talks to eighth graders tomorrow in Richardson. And because you can't keep a good writer down, she's doing more research on an interview she did yesterday with the people at Recycled Books in Denton.
Laura S. is on Metro duty today -- something tells me traffic might make it into the list of stories today.
Laura E. reports that the editing of the most recent Uncle Barky show is imminent now that it has been successfully uploaded.
Erin is putting together another stellar group of Peg Picks, which tell you exactly what you need to do every day -- no thinking required!
And finally, John Paris Meyer has a big day ahead of him. Not only will he be telling us what DVDs are worth buying/renting and give his thoughts on the Oscar nominations, he'll be spending the majority of the day with one Paris Hilton. He'll sit in on what I'm sure will be an illuminating roundtable with the "actress" and watch as she walks down the red carpet at the premiere of The Hottie and the Nottie, of which I gave you my thoughts last week.
