March 4, 2008: Tim O’Hare and The Visitor

Work In Progress

Published: March 4, 2008

Lots going on this week, between tapings of local events (such as the Column Awards last night) and editing of resulting footage for post/broadcast.

New stuff: Catherine will be speaking with Tim O'Hare today about his vision for Farmers Branch; Minnie is preparing her agenda for tomorrow's interview with Irving's fire chief; Alex is putting together his notes on The Counterfeiters (Die Fälscher); T. Gub is writing up her "new products Wednesday" piece and conducting best bites research (nice work if you can get it - except for that purging part); and Erin is doing her duty on the city desk. Oh, and I'll be screening The Visitor, a film that makes an appearance down at SXSW next week (and then opens in regular release on May 2).

Did I mention you should get out and VOTE today? (Well, you should.)

Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info
