He has covered the Mavericks and the National Basketball Association since 2007 and is a member of the Professional Basketball Writers Association, having appeared numerous times on NBA TV and dubbed “the Black Sinatra” by NBA legend Chris Webber for his fashion sense.
Earl graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications and a minor in African-American studies.
