Born into a stagestruck family, Rachel Sampson first exercised her critical abilities when she walked out of a performance of The Sound of Music
at the age of 3. Since then, she has cultivated her love of the arts through dance, vocal performance, writing, and participation in various productions as both performer and technician. Her love of both theatrical performance and the written word has led her to view and analyze productions around the globe and contributed to her choice of studies. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Technical Writing from the University of North Texas and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Modern Literature. When she's not reviewing, Rachel works as a Business Systems Analyst and Consultant for the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
