Description

This whole site is partly Todd Snider's fault. Anytime I (Mike) find myself in a career transition point, I listen to Todd's "Can't Complain" in heavy rotation with the Old 97's Over the Cliff.

i was talkin to my girlfriend i told her i was stressed i said" i'm going off the deep end" she said" give it a rest" we're all waiting in the dugout thinkin we should pitch how you gonna throw a shut out if all you do is bitch

i got nothin to lose cause there's nothing to gain it's like a one way ticket to cruise in this passing lane i can't complain

so now i got a brand new dance i need one more shot i just need one last chance i know i won't get caught i gotta make my last stand this time i can't be bought then again on the other hand how much have you got?

Fans of Billy Joe Shaver, Kris Kristofferson, Townes, or any of the great singer-songwriters shouldn't miss this one.

Anybody going to the show tonight? April's working late and I'm the only Todd fan en la oficina.

Vans Warped Tour 2009 Warped just began -- Dallas is the fifth stop -- so Bad Religion, NOFX et al will still be fresh. This year, they've got fewer stages and longer sets (40 minutes instead of 30). Get there early for Colorado duo 3OH!3 and Brit punkers Gallows (pictured, credit Jay West). More info
