On October 28, 2005 Robert Meadows was brutally attacked and robbed by three unknown assailants in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven convenience store. Robert spent the next 25 days fighting for his life, while he was kept in medically induced comas to minimize damage to the brain. The extent of Roberts brain trauma is still unknown as no two brain injuries are the same, nor are their recoveries. Robert is slowly improving, however he's still unable to walk or communicate. The costs over the past six months have already exceeded $1.5 million.
Meadows has been a mainstay in the Dallas entertainment industry for twelve years. He has a great sense of humor, an infectious smile and razor sharp wit. He has been in numerous television commercials and industrials over the years. Anyone wishing to contribute to his aid in his recovery can come to our events and/or to the donations tab on his website. The assailants who committed this violent act have not been caught.
The Robert C. Meadows Fund was created by Robert's friends after the attack to raise funds to help Robert and his family with his medical expenses.
