Wellstone's Dallas White Rock Marathon is made for runners – FAST, FLAT, SCENIC and FUN – with more than 40 bands!
Come celebrate warm Texas hospitality and run the best of Dallas. Starting and finishing at the American Airlines Center in ultra-modern Victory Plaza, traversing downtown and the wooded Turtle Creek area, the mostly-flat course travels through prestigious Highland Park, along a 10-mile loop around beautiful White Rock Lake and through the historic Lakewood and Swiss Avenue neighborhoods.
Our post-race party keeps the fun going with live music inside the American Airlines Center with plenty of food and beverages for all participants. Wellstone's Dallas White Rock Marathon – a great race in a great city for a great cause – come run the race of your life with us on December 10, 2006!

5:00 a.m. American Airlines Center parking lots open
6:30 a.m. Hotel shuttle buses begin pre-race pickups from hotels
7:30 a.m. Hotel shuttle buses end pre-race pickups from hotels
7:40 a.m. Elite Women's Marathon Start - (Cooper Complete Race to Victory)
7:40 a.m. Pre-Race Worship Service at Victory Plaza
7:50 a.m. Performance of the national anthem
7:55 a.m. Wheelchair Start
8:00 a.m. Marathon and 5-Person Relay start

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Live television coverage of the marathon and race activities to be broadcast from the finish line by WFAA Channel 8
