Dialogue with Diplomats: Luncheon with Korean Ambassador

South Korea continues to be Dallas/Fort Worth's second top trading partner, with over $4.9 billion in total trade in 2005. With the launch of U.S.-Korea free-trade agreement negotiations in September 2006, the trade relationship between the two countries has grown and new mutual opportunities for U.S. and Korean businesses have emerged. The Chamber is proud to host His Excellency Lee Tae-sik, Ambassador of Korea to the United States, who will offer insights into the Fair Trade Agreement negotiations and other issues of importance to DFW businesses working with Korea. The Ambassador’s visit to our region is an opportunity for local business leaders to engage in conversations with the Ambassador in an intimate setting.
