The Dallas Architecture Forum continues with the winner of the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award, Minneapolis architect Vincent James, speaking about his recent projects.
Single tickets are available at the door only. Dallas Architecture Forum members are admitted for free. For non-members it is $15; $10 for DMA members and $5 for students with ID.
Vincent James, a native of Minneapolis, studied architecture in the Midwest and founded his practice there in 1990. As principal of VJAA, his work has been published nationally and internationally. VJAA has received numerous design awards, including national AIA Honor Awards for the Type/Variant House and the Dayton House and four consecutive Progressive Architecture awards. The firm is the recent winner of a competition for the Charles W. Hostler Center at the American University of Beirut. James lectures widely and is an Adjunct Professor at the Harvard GSD. In 2001, he received the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture.
