The Duncanville Lions Club will be hosting the 4th of July Parade with the this years theme of "Baseball, Hot Dogs and Apple Pie". The parade will start at 9 a.m. and will run from Freeman Street to Wheatland Road, to Main Street and back to Freeman.
This year's Grand Marshall will be Duncanville's newest sports team the Duncanville Deputies, which is a Texas Collegiate League Baseball Team.
Throughout the day there will be food vendors, train rides for the kids, the largest portable water slide in the state of Texas and an iron man challenge for everyone to test their athletic abilities.
720 Action Sports will be hosting three 40-minute motocross shows throughout the day.
Southern Flight a country rock band will perform from 5:30pm- 7:30 p.m. At 8, Mike and the Mix will perform until the fireworks show about 9:45.
