Mimir Chamber Music Festival
July 6, 2006
Every summer, a collection of premier chamber musicians and select students gather at Texas Christian University. While Dallas and Fort Worth audiences delight in the challenging and diverse concerts performed by the world-renowned faculty, the students experience two of the most inspiring weeks of their careers. Woven among the five faculty performances are three hours a day of coaching, masterclasses on solo and orchestral repertoire, and public performing opportunities.
Dohnanyi: Serenade for String Trio (Curt Thompson, Kirsten Docter, Brant Taylor)
Barber: Sonata for Cello and Piano (Jose Feghali, Brant Taylor)
Beethoven: Quartet in A Minor, Op. 132 (Nathan Cole, Steve Rose, Kirsten Docter, Brant
Taylor)
