Mimir Chamber Music Festival
July 14, 2006
, 2006
Every summer, a collection of premier chamber musicians and select students gather at Texas Christian University. While Dallas and Fort Worth audiences delight in the challenging and diverse concerts performed by the world-renowned faculty, the students experience two of the most inspiring weeks of their careers. Woven among the five faculty performances are three hours a day of coaching, masterclasses on solo and orchestral repertoire, and public performing opportunities.
Schedule: Dvorak: Terzetto for String Trio (Nathan Cole, Akiko Tarumoto, Che-Yen Chen)
Zyman: Search (Curt Thompson, Jesus Castro-Balbi, Jose Feghali)
Schubert: Trout Quintet (Curt Thompson, Che-Yen Chen, Jesus Castro-Balbi, Paul, Jose Feghali)
