Enjoy 10 live horse races and one of Texas' fastest rising country music stars, The Randy Rogers Band, and King Cone.
Admission is $3 before 9 p.m. and $15 thereafter. The outdoor concert will begin after the last race at approximately 11 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m., the first live race is set fro 6:35 p.m. and King Cone & The Tailgate Philharmonic will warm up the crowd with live music between races in the Courtyard of Champions from 7-11 p.m.
The Randy Rogers Band was recently recognized by Americana music's Gruene with Envy Awards as the 2005 "Band of the Year," "Album of the Year (Rollercoaster)," "Song of the Year ("Tonight's Not The Night"), and "Songwriter of the Year."
