Description
Starring nine-time Grammy winner Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel, and an all-star cast of actors, dancers and musicians, this original musical drama relives the story of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. For decades on radio, in dance halls and on the silver screen, he was the most popular entertainer in the American Southwest. Although he passed away in 1975, his legendary music keeps growing, and is today accepted as a defining cultural achievement of this region. This two-act extravaganza includes Bob Willsâ most famous songs, âSan Antonio Rose,â âFaded Love,â âCherokee Maiden,â âTake Me Back to Tulsa,â and many more.
