Reclusive Dallas band, The Jones Thing, will finally face the footlights again in support of their new CD Sweet Simulacra.
This all-star band features Chris Holt of Olospo, Trey Carmichael of Sorta, Eric Neal of Holt's Egos and Escort Service, Joe Schwartzott of Oliver's Army and some dude named Jeff Jones.
Preview a few tunes (think Elvis Costello hanging out with XTC and Joe Jackson) at thejonesthing.com and then c'mon out and see the boys. The new CD will be sold at a discounted rate for all who attend.
