Cottonwood Art Festival
May 6, 2006
, 2006
Richardsonâs Cottonwood Park will become an outdoor gallery May 6-7, as art enthusiasts flock to the park to see displays of magnificent works of art from the nationâs top visual artists. For two weekends each year, Richardson shows off its savvy at Cottonwood Art Festival, celebrating its 37th year. Throughout the years Cottonwood has become a popular Texas attraction and one of the nationâs premier festivals and has consistently attracted a wide range of guests, from art connoisseurs to those who simply appreciate things of great beauty. Located just east of Coit Road on Belt Line Road, Cottonwood is the areaâs premier art festival. The event draws local, regional, and national artists as well as local bands performing the best in rock, country, jazz, blues, swing and folk. Thereâs something for every member of the family. Dad can sit in our lakeside courtyard; take in the atmosphere with food, spirits and music. While mom shops, the kids will be entertained at the ArtStop Childrenâs Area with lively music and fun interactive art activities.
