This family festival of art, food, and music is a Dallas area tradition, now celebrating its 37th year.
Davy Jones will appear on May 27. Tickets are $6 at the gate ($5 in advance at Dallas area Tom Thumb stores beginning May 1), and lawn seating only is available. Patrons are advised to bring blankets and lawn chairs, but pets and coolers are not permitted. Art show closes at 8 p.m.
Mindi Abair will appear on May 28. Her 2003 debut hit record, It Just Happens That Way was recognized by Billboard magazine as one of the Top 10 contemporary jazz CDs of 2003, and by JazzWeek as the #1 most-played contemporary jazz CD of 2003. âLucyâsâ, the first single from the CD, spent eight weeks at #1 and tied for the longest running #1 single by a debut artist at NAC radio. Art show closes at 8 p.m.
Continuing a new Memorial Day tradition, Brave Combo will perform on the Artfest main stage on May 29. The show begins at approximately 2 p.m., and tickets are available at the gate for $6 and at local area Tom Thumb stores for $5 beginning May 1.
