Brave Combo
November 25, 2006
Multi-Grammy award winners and America’s premier contemporary polka band, Brave Combo, will begin their Annual Holiday Blast at Sons of Hermann Hall on Saturday, November 25 at 9:00 pm. Son’s of Hermann Hall is legendary for its beautiful old hardwood dance floor making it an ideal setting to experience America’s number one dance band. Along with seasonal favorites, Denton’s own Brave Combo will offer a “dance the night away” assortment of celebratory songs from their recent release, “Holidays” (Dentone Records).
Brave Combo’s traditional holiday show is everything but typical. Performing original tunes like “Coal and Switches” and “Christmas in July”, Brave Combo demands everyone within earshot has a very merry holiday season. Where else will you experience “O, Holy Night” as a cha cha, a rock tinged “Santa’s Polka” or a ska interpretation of “The Christmas Song?” Throw in a New Year’s tribute or two, a bit of “Vampire Twist” and greet the coming holiday season Brave Combo-style.
