Shakespeare in Song

The UTD Chamber Singers and voice students will perform songs from a variety of Shakespeare plays, including The Merchant of Venice, Winterâs Tale, Measure for Measure, The Tempest, Cymbeline, Hamlet, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Othello and Two Gentlemen of Verona. Students from the RatPAC, UTDâs performing arts club, will present readings from Shakespeareâs works to introduce the songs. In keeping with the Elizabethan theme, the performers will be in Renaissance dress.
