Jack Foltyn, a Dallas-based actor, writer, dancer, singer and choreographer, brings the national premiere of Walk a Mile in My Shoes to the Eisemann Center. This original musical is a blend of rock 'n roll music, comedy and drama. It was conceptualized, written, and produced by Foltyn and his company, FTA Productions, as a story that parallels the experiences of an actor, like Foltyn himself, through a narrative about Elvis, his life and his overall desire to be a complete artist in all aspects of his career. Foltyn's unique spin allows audiences to see Elvis' past and "what could have been" future as an analogy of what many of today's actors experience, creating a production that symbolizes not the life of a legend, but the life of a performer.
