Tour Dallas 2007

Get some exercise, see Dallas from a new perspective, and fight juvenile diabetes all at once by participating in the annual Tour Dallas bike ride. The event offers routes of 8, 20, and 30 miles, so that even weekend warriors can take part.

All Tour Dallas routes will begin and finish at the American Airlines Center - with views of The W Hotel and the Dallas skyline. After the ride, there will be music from Beatlegras, strolling magicians, clowns, face painters and information about the sites of Dallas, other cycling events, refreshments and snacks.

The start time for all routes is 8 am. All routes will also have support provided by the Dallas Police Department, rest stops stocked with fluids and snacks, friendly volunteers, and roving mechanics to keep the bikes rolling.

The routes available are the 8-Mile Family Fun Route, designed for families to enjoy with the kids; the 20-mile Urban Explorer, where you can stretch your legs a bit more as you tour East Dallas; and the 30-mile Urban Adventurer, to go the distance and see it all.
