Lancaster ISD Second Annual Tigers at Work Job Fair
April 21, 2007
This program is an initiative of State Senator Royce West’s “It’s About Our Community” program. Students who sign a contract with the community and attend resume, interview, and job skill training are eligible to participate in this program. The program provides for summer employment opportunities through student internships. Eligible Sophomores and Juniors at Lancaster High School will participate in tomorrow’s job fair. Through the support of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, L.I.S. D. is fortunate to have over 100 summer jobs pledged at this time. It is not too late to provide job opportunites for students. If you would like to attend the Job Fair tomorrow, interview students, employers and staff involved in the process, please contact Teri Wilson at 469-261-8905.
