As famed French film critic AndrĂˆ Bazin once noted in his essay, "The Ontology of the Photographic Image," film & video have the bizarre ability to preserve moments in time and in a way can counteract the "second death" of a person's visage fading out of memory. Memories and video are profoundly connected. The videos in this compilation share the theme of memory.
