Elvis Impersonator Contest

This year’s winner will win an all-expense paid trip to the new Dick’s in Las Vegas’ Excalibur Hotel and Casino, the “Shame ‘o the Strip,” to compete for top honors during the Elvis birthday bash on January 8, 2008. Trip includes airfare, two nights stay at the Excalibur Hotel, and a $200 Dick’s gift card.
Some important tips for Elvis contestants: Must be 18 or older; judges give extra points for trying to look like Elvis; wear those white satin jumpsuits or tight black leather pants, but don’t forget those sexy sideburns; wiggle around like Elvis (remember why they called him Elvis the Pelvis?); and singing like him is always good.
Contestants will be judged on vocals, appearance, performance, stage presence and overall tribute to Elvis. First runner-up wins a $200 Dick’s gift card. Those with no musical talent who only aspire to eat like the King can still be a winner by entering Dick’s Jelly Donut Eating Contest. First place wins a $50 Dick’s gift card, and second place wins a $25 Dick’s gift card.

Don’t like donuts? Don’t worry, there will be lots of down-home Southern-style comfort food just like Mama Presley used to make, including Chicky Fry’d Chicky with smashed ‘taters and Mile-High Peanut Butter Pie.
