Royal English Afternoon Tea
August 26, 2007
The charming and delightful Chef Darren McGrady, who calls himself “The Royal Chef” is giving Dallas a preview of an event ‘fit for a queen’ he will be doing in New York City this fall. In celebration of the publication of his new book, Chef McGrady presents a ‘Royal English Afternoon Tea’ at the historic Warwick Melrose Hotel on consecutive Sundays August 19 and 26 (4pm).
Two worthwhile organizations benefit from the Warwick Melrose. Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit Princess Diana’s favored charity, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. Locally, $25 from the sale of each ticket will de donated to ArtReach, an organization dedicated to ensuring access to the arts and cultural events of our city for economically disadvantaged children and adults, the disabled and elderly – a favorite of Chef McGrady.
